I am pleased to be able to launch my website in the run-up to the 2015 Manx Music Festival. My first entry into the festival was as a ten-year old Primary school pupil, in which I played a (pretty terrifying, from what I recall) witch in our Year 6 ‘choral speaking’ group. We won that class, and I continued to compete throughout my school years on the Isle of Man, finally winning the Cleveland medal in 2013. The Cleveland medal is the highest award for adult singers in the entire competition, and I was thrilled to have been the second youngest winner of the medal in the competition’s history.
The recently re-launched website for the festival can be accessed here. I’d better get practising…
